I understand how to make ideas work above, below, and online. I have run teams globally, regionally and in teams you can count on one hand. I can help either by supporting in to your existing team or I often put one together. if it’s easier I can pull up a chair and help you on my own. I love to collaborate. I work on small projects and enormous ones, I don’t care.

Strategy

I am most frequently used to put write strategy and then move it straight into execution. Helping brands position themselves or launch their products. I love to solve business problems, so I like to start from a more strategic position than most Creative Directors. Then work to develop big, wide ideas that can work through fully integrated campaigns. I can set a creative direction and lead a team, write your brand or product idea and flex it through your media buy with a cohesive narrative. Optimise it for each channel’s strengths with a consistent written and visual identity, You’ll see within the work section that I have done this for big and small brands.

Art Direction

At my heart I am still an Art Director. I love the craft of Design and layout, typography, photography, film and visual identity.
I can develop corporate Identity, global brand identity, campaign guidelines craft and style a campaign look and feel. I can translate this through stills and film, typography to full CI guidelines. After implementation I can also take on the roll of brand guardian.

Writer

I am not a traditional copywriter, but over so many years in the industry and having sat with so many great partners it’s often the thing I end doing most. I’ve written scripts for Super Bowl spots, press ads and social posts. I’ve lead teams of writers and set the tone of voice for global brands like Jaguar and Bentley. Most frequently I write documents, brands ideas, scripts and director treatments.

Directing film and stills.
Directing has allowed me to connect several skill sets. Story telling is central to what we do and as film content as become more critical across the media mix especially within digital and broadcast platforms it has provided me with an opportunity to cross over skill sets. 

I now use my my Art Directional background to develop a strong visual aesthetic along my automotive and lifestyle experience to combine film and stills directing. Often combing both on shoots. With my digital experience I understand hoe to create native digital assets as well as incredible broadcast visuals.


Personal BRand Development

Packaging people for partnerships.

Over the last three years I have started to work more with a group of individuals, famous in their own right for what they do. They have the same focus and clarity of purpose as a corporate organisation. This includes adventure sports, exploration, and exceptional creative. Working with talent on my film projects I realised the potential to help them commercially package their offering. I realised that they needed a similar skill set to help them provide clarity and improve their communications and elevate their  commercial value. They communicate across platform and work to act as ambassadors, partners and story tellers for brands.

I help them write and develop their own brand guidelines, develop partner packages and then partner them with like minded organisations. I don’t know any one else doing this.
